Wirtgen Service and Trade Center

To accommodate the expanding activities of Wirtgen Bulgaria, part of the international Wirtgen Group, IPA designed the company's new commercial base in Sofia. The facility is a service and sales center for road construction machinery used for the extraction of minerals and raw materials. The designed building is divided into four functional zones corresponding to the nature of the services and activities performed. The architectural project is fully corresponding to all the corporate requirements of the brand.
 
One of the primary tasks of IPA in the investment project's development was that the final architectural product needed to fulfill all German standards and requirements for construction, which in the end we successfully achieved in the finalized architectural appearance.
 
The complex is designed as two adjoining parts, with administrative premises located in the lower part, and a warehouse and repair space for the enterprise housed in the higher part.
The first part of the building is designed to accommodate offices and is created on two levels, functionally intended for the company's commercial and advertising activities. The facade is covered with aluminum composite panels in the colors of "Wirtgen Group". Finding the right shade was also the main challenge when developing the project since the specific color of the brand is relatively difficult to find in Bulgaria. As a result, the colors are present both on the exterior and in the interior of the building.
 
Functionally, it is separated into four zones: an area with access to customers and outside visitors - commercial activity and offices; an area with no access to outside visitors - for service and repair work; a warehouse area - to store parts and components necessary for service activities; and a technical area - technical premises needed for the full functioning of the complex.
