Vabul Residence is a five-story residential complex offering a variety of living spaces, along with a pharmacy and underground parking. The building is designed with five independent entrances. Located in Druzhba district of Sofia, the complex integrates into the traditional U-shaped layout that characterizes the neighborhood. IPA Architects utilized this distinctive form as the foundation for their design, crafting a modern structure that feels inviting. The building’s massing is intentionally fragmented into smaller volumes, fostering a sense of intimacy and scale. This approach creates a harmonious living environment that effectively address the diverse needs and lifestyle preferences of its residents.
The projects is inspired contemporary architectural trends that focus on integrating nature into the urban environment. The design is characterized by combination of clean, simple forms with refined details, creating a modern and elegant appearance. The predominantly white façade enhances the sense of openness and lightness, while the warm copper accents on the ground floor and balconies add a layer of coziness and sophistication. This balanced palette of colors and materials creates an architectural composition that is both visually striking and functionally effective.
First floor above the ground is designed with residents’ convenience in mind, featuring a pharmacy, garages, and common areas. The upper floors are for residences, offering 150 well-designed two- and three-bedroom apartments, along with 10 studios.
The U-shaped design of Vabul Residence allowed the architects to incorporate an expansive courtyard at the heart of the complex. This central area includes a children’s playground, walkways, and spaces for relaxation and social interaction, creating an internal park that offers residents a sense of privacy and balance.
The underground floor serves as a spacious parking area, accommodating 174 vehicles with six accessible entrances to ensure easy access for all residents.
One of the complex’s key advantages is its prime location, situated near the Druzhba metro station, The Mall shopping center, and Druzhba lake. Vabul Residence is a reflection of contemporary architectural trends and reflects a commitment to creating a harmonious and inspiring living environment.
