About the project

Teletek Electronics has entrusted IPA with the construction of its new production and administrative facility in Sofia, where the company manufactures its complete range of alarm and fire alarm equipment. The project's investment amounts to 25 million BGN.

The facility spans 11,000 sq.m. and is equipped with cutting-edge machinery. The production area, operating five fully equipped production lines, covers 3,800 sq.m. Warehouses, covering 3,200 sq.m., are equipped with racking systems for ample storage of materials and finished products. A substantial share of production processes is fully automated and number of activities, including the assembly of smoke detectors, are efficiently handled by the company's in-house developed latest-generation robotic system. This system achieves the realization of 1 million detectors per year.

Teletek's new home is designed to accommodate production needs over the next ten years and allow the company to increase its capacity by 50%. The facility not only boosts production capacity but also fosters the growth of its R&D department by providing modern laboratory equipment and test facilities. The implementation of new machinery, production techniques, and process automation is designed to boost both product quality and productivity.

The new building features a three-story administrative structure spanning 3,800 square meters. The precise layout includes office areas and equipped rooms for meetings and training, ensuring the necessary comfort for both employees and visitors. The interior design of the office part uses modern solutions, both in terms of space and furniture. To meet the requirements of development activities, designated premises with relevant equipment have been set aside for conducting tests. A built-in climate control system ensures a perfect working environment. For the well-being of its employees, Teletek has added recreation and sports areas, a garden, and places to eat. Showing its care for the environment, the company is also investing in a project to build a solar power plant with a capacity of up to 700 kWp.

The production process involves supplying, storing, and preparing electronic components, parts, and assemblies. It includes the supply of plastic parts, automated SMD mounting of printed circuit boards, mounting conventional electronic components and modules using a "wave soldering" process, pre-assembly preparation, final assembly of the products, conducting necessary functional tests, adjustments, programming of finished products, and other related auxiliary technological processes.

To meet the requirements of the technological equipment, essential installations like the "nitrogen farm" and "compressor station" have been constructed. The air-conditioning installations are customized and designed to ensure and sustain the required microclimate in each section of the building.

Teletek Electronics has been honored with an "Investor Class A" certificate from the Bulgarian Investment Agency for its investment project in establishing a new production base. Additionally, the company is a nominee for "Investor of the Year" in the "Investment in Innovative Business" category, recognizing its significant investment projects in 2021.

Teletek Electronics is a market leader with over 650 products developed in-house in its own R&D departments, which employs over 50 highly qualified engineers. The company manufactures a full range of alarm and fire detection solutions, as well as communication modules and software for applications in security and monitoring systems and strives to offer not only individual products, but complete solutions for a wide range of applications.
