About the project

Bella Vista Restaurant opened its doors in 2024 and quickly became one of the most captivating dining destinations. Nestled in the village of Kladnitsa, just minutes from Sofia, the restaurant spans 230 square meters and offers an intimate setting with 43 seats.

The interior was created by IPA - Architecture and more with a clear vision – to provide a space where every guest feels special without the need for excessive luxury. There is no pretense here; instead, the restaurant exudes warmth and intimacy, offering a refined yet understated experience. Bella Vista doesn’t clamor for attention – it captivates with its quiet elegance, leaving a lasting impression on those who step inside.

The design is intentionally simple, with a strong emphasis on natural materials that enhance its authenticity. A carefully considered approach was taken, using a minimal selection of materials – solid wood, natural veneer, metal, and microcement. Together, they create a warm and inviting atmosphere without overwhelming the space.

The multi-level design of Bella Vista Restaurant, inspired by the natural contours of the landscape, adds depth and dynamism to the space while fostering a connection with the restaurant’s surroundings. Each level is crafted to reflect the organic flow of the terrain, with smooth and harmonious transitions between areas.

Open levels maintain a visual connection to the surrounding landscape, evoking a sense of freedom that enhances the dining experience. This design underscores the restaurant’s core philosophy – a space that unites rather than divides, allowing guests to feel immersed in nature while enjoying their meal.

The kitchen is more than just a place for cooking – it’s a stage. Equipped with high-class appliances, it occupies nearly half of the restaurant’s space, highlighting the commitment to quality cuisine and precision in the cooking process.

Thoughtfully designed lighting defines different areas of the restaurant, setting the perfect mood for an exceptional dining experience. At the heart of the restaurant, a brick fireplace serves as the focal point, adding both warmth and character to the space.

More than just a source of heat, it’s a key visual element that ties the entire interior together. The wood used in the fireplace is integrated into the design, reinforcing the concept of authenticity and a connection to nature. Beyond its practical function, the fireplace symbolizes the warmth and hospitality that the restaurant offers to all who visit.
