The IPA architects won the highest distinction again - this time at the DIBLA DESIGN AWARD.
UNICA's interior project won first prize at this year's event, which was held on March 29 in Sofia. The international jury and renowned experts in interior design and product design awarded the team an award in the category "Public design - restaurant."
This is the second major award for UNICA restaurant. After this year they won the GOGUIDE award for "Best new restaurant in Sofia for 2022".

It occupies 105 seats and is located in a seven-story residential building on Tzar Osvoboditel Blvd., which was announced as the heritage building's architectural and construction location. The kitchen, located on the underground level, serves the halls on the upper two levels. The entrance area is designed as a warehouse section with selected products.
Throughout the restaurant, amorphous wood elements ("liana") symbolize the dynamic relationship between the two sides, a new perspective on Italy. Lighting, contrasting the ceiling with visible concrete, gives the turquoise space.
