Once again this year, representatives from IPA will be speaking at both the Office Investments & Workspace Forum and the International Geodesy Students' Meeting (IGSM).

Set to take place on May 15, 2024, at the Sofia Event Center, the Office Investments & Workspace Forum 2024 is Bulgaria's premier specialized forum in architecture, construction, and building technologies. This year's focus will explore the transformative impact of new work models on the contemporary design and functionality of office spaces.

In this year's edition, arch. Maria Hinkova and arch. Lazar Tsankov, senior members of IPA, will be participating with presentations to share their expertise in implementing large-scale office projects. They are set to join Panel 4: PROJECT SHOWCASE: OFFICE INNOVATION & THE GREEN TRANSFORMATION.

The panel will feature key highlights including:

  • Green office transformation and emerging sustainability trends, alongside energy-efficient solutions. It will also analyze how ESG standards are shaping office architecture;

  • Exploring the development of high-quality office spaces through cutting-edge technologies and innovative building solutions. The discussion will focus on achieving a balance between effectiveness and efficiency in modern workspace design;

  • Showcasing ongoing workspace projects slated for implementation in 2024, providing insights into their design concepts and development progress.

Another significant event in which EKIPA will be actively engaged is the 36th International Geodesy Students' Meeting (IGSM).

The meeting aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences among students and professionals from various countries.

Scheduled from May 12 to 18, the event will be hosted by the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG).

Among the participants will be eng. Tsvetelina Bordzukova from IPA. On May 13, Tsvety will deliver a presentation on IPA, followed by a workshop on May 16. The workshop will focus on software applications for spatial modeling, grading plans, determining volumes of earthworks, and preparing quantity estimates. The objective is to create a complete set of project documentation for the "Geodesy" aspect of investment projects in Bulgaria.
